The special session on the Family Centered Employment project by Innovate+Educate and NAWB will offer hands-on tools and practical strategies for Workforce Boards and America Job Centers interested in focusing on parents engaged in training and employment to manage family needs while working to advance themselves in the labor market. Three workforce boards are involved in a national pilot supported by the W K Kellogg Foundation addressing new ways to work with their parent customers, with a focus on ensuring parents and their children have the needed quality supports for parents to focus on success in the workplace.  Join us to learn tips and strategies from their experience and have the opportunity to identify operational strategies for your AJC or workforce board.  Workforce Boards that are interested in expanding their knowledge of Family Centered Employment beyond the Forum will have the opportunity to participate in a learning community as the next phase of this initiative.

The Embedding Family Centered Employment Strategies in Workforce Services special session is a complimentary session sponsored by NAWB and Innovate+Educate through the support from the  W.K. Kellogg Foundation.
