Mark Mattke

Mark Mattke is CEO of the Spokane Workforce Council. He has served in this leadership role for the past 17 years, bringing together private and public partners to transform the regional talent development system and ensure that the dynamic workforce needs of business are met and individuals have the skills to succeed in the 21st century economy. With a focus on innovation to improve service delivery, he has created a nimble and adaptive organization that leverages the capacity of the local workforce development board and its many system partners to support a customer-centered model that integrates and blends multiple funding resources, including private grants, SNAP E&T, WIOA Title I, NDWG, CDBG, and ARPA to achieve a diverse array of job seeker and business customer outcomes. Mark serves on the State Workforce Development Board, the local Certified Development Corporation (CDC), U.S. Conference of Mayors Workforce Development Board of Trustees, and as NAWB Liaison for local boards in USDOL Region 6.
